James C. MacRae, Jr.James C. MacRae, Jr. began working with the firm in 1989. Jim is licensed to practice in all state courts as well as all United States District Courts in North Carolina, the U.S. Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals and U.S. Supreme Court. He graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Criminal Justice in 1983 and from North Carolina Central University School of Law in 1988. He served as an Assistant District Attorney in Cumberland County, North Carolina in 1988 and 1989. He is presently a member of the North Carolina State Bar, North Carolina Bar Association, Cumberland County Bar Association, and the North Carolina Advocates for Justice.

Jim was born in Chapel Hill, North Carolina in August of 1960. He grew up in Fayetteville and graduated from Terry Sanford High School in 1979. He has been a member of St. Johns Episcopal Church since 1961. When he is not working, he enjoys outdoor activities, music and spending time with his friends and family, which includes his wife and their two children.

Jim’s practice focuses on all aspects of personal injury law to include motorcycle, trucking and automobile accidents, explosions, and other injuries. He is also experienced in criminal law, school assaults and neglect, wrongful death, work place injuries, condemnation and eminent domain, and civil litigation.
